I suppose this is inspired by the ending of Brotherhood, although it's really still FMA reflections in general *sobs* And again, despite how things ended, elricest will live on. Alphonse is always #1 in Edward's fullmetal heart!!

So that's why I've drawn/colored this in Brotherhood style! Doing Ed and Al's hair with the gold outline isn't too hard, but I don't like doing it that way. I prefer it all black. I wanted to color this cel-style, but add some realistic elements. I very much like the style of some of the Brotherhood illustrations, with their soft gradients, so I've tried to emulate that. And I thought it was more fitting for a photo as well.

I imagine this hangs in Ed and Al's house, or perhaps on the wall in Winry's along with all the other photos. I added in a corkboard and photo-look to make this seem more like a real photo hanging in the anime.
