I used this resource image as just that, a resource, and recontextualized it to make it an entirely different piece. So all that's left is the basic form of the body and the notion of the pants slipping down. I have changed the character from L to Ed from FMA, moved and drawn in the arm so it's up against a door, taken off the shirt completely, and modified a few other things. So again, the original image was just a resource, and all I'll claim is coloring and redrawing the line art.

That being said, I was experimenting with loosening my style from strict realism and trying to go a little more abstract or impressionist in how I colored. That's why I liked this resource image, although I don't think I'll ever be able to go that abstract. I also have been wanting to try out a non-strict-anime Ed, or something that has a personal style to it. I like drawing these types of guys, and I love that Ed is taller. He reminds me of Escape Club Ed... which they are my favorite doujinka, but I wasn't drawing this with their art in mind. I do really like how this turned out, and am quite pleased.
